Nicole Spaulding is a Postdoctoral Fellow at the Climate Change Institute at the University of Maine. She is collecting and analyzing ultra-high-resolution measurements of dust and other impurities from the (2013) Colle Gnifetti ice core. To do so she is using state-of-the-art laser based technology developed in the Climate Change Institute’s W.M. Keck Laser Ice Facility. She has a PhD in Earth and Climate Sciences from the University of Maine.
